Watercolour Painting Workshops
With
Barry Wilton-Middlemass
Since retiring from the army after 29 years Barry and his wife Vivien have had tuition from professional painters and have travelled the world with some of them. Travelling to India and Nepal with John Davies and Egypt, Peru and the Lafoten islands in the arctic circle with David Bellamy. Other painters they have studied with include Alwyn Crawshaw and Anne Blockley.
Studying under so many different artists has helped Barry create his own style of painting and tutoring. The workshops are exciting yet relaxed and light hearted with a sense of humour being a key part in the groups who have worked with Barry so far here at the Silver Thimble.
We run two regular workshops aimed at different levels of experience. (If you are a complete beginner, we will offer you a place on a 'Level 1' workshop initially, which will provide you with individual attention from the tutor as class sizes are kept to a minimum).
