Workshops with Nicola Hulme

Stumpwork Autumn Berries

Blackberries and currants nestled in the leaves - good enough to eat! (the berries that is, not the leaves)

This lovely design shows you how to make beaded blackberries, wrap beads with thread to resemble currants and create wired leaves to add to the 3d effect.

The finished piece could be made into a picture or why not bring it along to our box making class on Monday 7th December? It would look great adorning a box top.

This workshop is ideal for beginners who want to 'have ago' at Stumpwork (raised embroidery), or for those who want to expand their skills
