If you have seen Karin demonstrating her designs and techniques at the shows and would like to attend a workshop with her then this is your chance. Karin's reputation has been built on being able to find the simplest way to make great patchwork which she uses to help you make stunning quilts in easy and fun ways!
Karin will be with us from lunch time Monday and all day Tuesday.

If you have her books then you will, like us, want to put her designs into practise - this is a rare opportunity to attend her workshops in the North East. Karin is showing us two very different techniques:
Simply Pineapple/Pineapple chunks
In Karin's words - 'traditionally pineapple has often been thought of as one of those patchwork techniques taht you would never tackle as it looks too fiddly.' but.... Karin has a completely different technique which simply uses squares of fabric stitched together.

Sew in A Row
'Make your own unique quilts with the 'Sew a Row' magic formula' . The patchwork techniques used in sew a row quilts are quick simple and accurate. Use 'sew and flip' to quilt your work as you go ready for further quilting if you want to add to it at the end.
